Game of Thrones by George RR Martin;

Hello friends! I have been absent from my book reviews for a few weeks, but I am back with an awesome one! I am currently reading a few other books also, so the book reviews should hopefully start coming faster. I will list the ones I am currently reading later on after this review, in case you are interested in knowing.

When it came to Game of Thrones, I knew absolutely nothing about the novels. So I ended up watching the acclaimed HBO series first, I know this is rule number one when it comes to book worms. Had I known about the novels, I would have waited on the television series. I absolutely love the show, it comes as no surprise that I love the books so far as well. I have only read the first novel of the five book series. The series itself is actually titled A Song of Fire and Ice.

The first book will definitely leave you on the edge of your seat as you try to determine what will happen next. You will be left with so many emotions when you are done. I can not wait to get started on the second book, A Clash of Kings, simply because I MUST know what happens next.

Game of Thrones focuses on three families; The Starks, the Targeryens, and the Lannisters. It is based in the time period of castles, Kings, and everything else wonderful that comes with that era. Amid plots and counterplots, tragedy and betrayal, victory and terror; the fate of the Starks, their allies, and their enemies hangs perilously in the balance, as each fight to win the deadliest of wars; the game of thrones.

George RR Martin made a wonderful masterpiece with this book bringing together mystery, romance, and adventure. Fantasy fans everywhere will absolutely fall in love with this book, coming from a huge Harry Potter fan, you know it’s true!

I must add the most important thing about these books is the Dragons and supernatural forces. They give the book so much excitement!

Remember friends, in a land where Summers last decades; Winter is coming.

Currently reading: The Freedom Writer’s Diary, The Princess Bride, and an e-book called Malevolent.
