The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling;

Hello friends! It’s another rainy monsoon season day here in Arizona. I decided there was no better way to begin this day than by drinking a Dr. Pepper and writing a book review! I know you’re probably thinking “Wow, two book reviews in less than a week!” I am surprised myself. But, this weekend was a lazy one and I got a lot of reading done.

The Jungle Book is one I have been using as a bedtime story for my one year old, and he really enjoyed it. It is originally about a little boy named Mowgli and how he survives in the jungle with his wolf pack and other jungle friends. When the story of Mowgli ends, many other stories are put into play. Such as The White Seal, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and Toomai of the Elephants.

Rudyard Kipling has a way of writing that just draws you in to each story and leaves you wanting more. The stories are written out relatively similar to the old bible days, with the way characters talk and things like that.

I really enjoyed this book and its many stories. I think some of my other followers would as well. If you are looking for a great book to read to your child at winding down time, this one is the perfect fit.

As always, the link will be below. Have a lovely Tuesday, friends.
